Who or what beckons us from the Omniverse? Clearly our ancestors were more aware than us of the need to attune to, and harmonise with, ever-present elemental forces, but why? Was there a dynamic force behind their reason?
Who or what is this force? Is it still here? What did they do to nurture it?
What is so special about these Sceptred Isles?
Throughout our history there have been many people who have visited, and been visited from realms outside our earthly perceptions. Modern society is taught to mock and ignore them yet the witnesses remain adamant and many bear significant evidence of their encounters. Astute audiences recognise that there is something different about these ‘experiencers’ but the ‘trained brain’ puts it down to psychological aberrations. It seems safer that way; but expedience is never a guarantee of security and what does ignorance engender in the long term? Why did our ancestors (and still a few present day societies) put so much store in the wisdom attained through these shamanic journeys? After all, until the advent of strident religions, human beings had been profitably guided and nurtured through these channels for several millennia. 2000 years later (and more) of this ego-dominant misguidance has sown what we have now. Just as we blithely turn a blind eye to the horrific mess our world has become we turn away from the wise sources our ancestors cherished.
If only we could laugh more, sing more, listen more; really care for ourselves, each other, and our home planet get up off our indolent backsides both physically and mentally. Our plastic societies are melting but we ain’t seen nothin’ yet. The few who could help are cold-shouldered, denigrated, ridiculed or erased and so the serpents of this contrived snake pit constrict us more. Yet despite this the angels keep coming, there is hope.
Whatever orchestrates Creation has not given up on us, and neither should we.
The three speakers, Jason Andrews, Bagoll the Traveller and Ellis Taylor will share their intimate personal experiences, research and anecdotes.
