I have inherited my psychic abilities and sensitivity from my parent both of which talked openly about what they thought and their observations. Consequently I grew up in an environment where this felt normal and therefore was not supressed. I learned quickly at school that this was not so with the majority of the population and I was classed as weird.
I was so sensitive to energy as a child that food like trifle would make me sick but I could eat all the ingredients separately. Some trees made me spin like a top and I would feel ill with no explanation, just while out for a walk. Only later was I told that I was sensing ley lines. I suffered with travel sickness so badly that travelling any distance caused me to be sick, swings and roundabouts also have the same effect.

I began at about age 9 or 10 experiencing unusual activity in my bedroom, which completely freaked me out as I did not know the cause and still don’t to this day. My sister also had the same experiences but I only found this out last year.
This lead me to the library to do my own investigative research, such as it was, as a ten year old. In order to make sense of those things not even my parents could explain and would often dismiss.
This began my interest into the UFO phenomenon.
In 1983 I married a professional photographer.
For 16 and a half years I taught adults with learning disabilities.
Unsurprisingly I now work with energy medicine as a complementary health practitioner using Homoeopathy, essential oils, nutrition and reflexology at The Oasis Natural Health Clinic here in Redditch, which I own.
My husband Paul and I began taking photographs of orbs in April 2003 when John Hanson and Dawn Holloway invited us to Rendelsham Forest, where we were introduced to Brenda Butler. This really blew Paul’s mind as up to that point he was a healthy sceptic regarding orbs.
My presentation at Signs of the Times will be about earth energies and photographing orbs successfully; what to look for and how to determine a significant photograph. I will be talking about our experiments into what else these orbs could possibly be and what they are not.
