Special Interests:

The links between what is normally termed the ‘Paranormal’ and UFOlogy, particularly the mechanism behind so called poltergeist activity and claims of alien abduction. Also, cases where the medical condition electrical hypersensitivity (EH) and its attendant phenomena produce effects identical to those described by abductees and witnesses to alleged hauntings. I have a particular interest in the effects of mind-altering chemicals like dimethyltryptamine (DMT), peyote and other substances used by shamans and others seeking altered states of perception. There is mounting evidence that these substances have a profound effect on our latent ability to sense the invisible presences surrounding us. I also have an interest in, and continually research, historical enigmas, e.g. Rosslyn Chapel, the Knights Templar and Rennes-le-Chateau.

I have written literally dozens of in-depth articles and am currently a regular contributor to the ‘BUFORA Bulletin’, ‘Strange Times’, the ‘Sauniere Magazine’, and also numerous web-sites, including www.ellisctaylor.com, www.spiuk.net and ‘The Lost Haven’. I have also written three books, one entitled ‘The SPI Files’ which is an account of SPI’s investigations, another entitled ‘Angels of Heaven, Angels of Hell’, which examines the phenomena associated with mysticism, including angels, stigmata, levitation, prophecy, miracles, incorruptibility and ET’s. My latest book is entitled, ‘Beyond Reality’ and concerns recent accounts of alien contact and abduction in the UK. I have personally investigated and recorded all the accounts.

Theories:

I have, over the years, adopted and discarded many ideas and theories. For example, I do not embrace the Extra Terrestrial Hypothesis, (ETH) as the only explanation for sightings of ‘UFO’s’ and other ariel anomalies. After having personally investigated, re-investigated and evaluated several classic British UFO sightings and alleged abductions, I have reached the conclusion that rather than the result of direct interference by extraterrestrial entities, they may be the result of ‘extra-dimensional’ beings. Through this paradigm, I attempt to tie in the concepts and conclusions reached in quantum theory (String Theory and the Many Worlds theory are two particularly good examples of where this becomes feasible), although in real terms it matters little whether the entities originate from another galaxy or continuum. The point is; they can and do arrive here in our version of reality, usually uninvited. I also strongly believe that there are inescapable links between the paranormal, folklore, traditional magic and UFOlogy. These links have always been here and have been witnessed over millennia. The sole mitigating factors have been based entirely on social mores and beliefs. I see no conflict between the possibilities presented by the alternate continuums posited by quantum physics and the use of consciousness expanding chemicals to bridge the gap between our reality and other dimensions.
